Okay, okay. Let me get a little more detailed here. Brian and I are looking for a job, preferably as a high school choir teacher. We have a few leads, but could certainly use more. We are open-minded about location so if you live in Kentucky and know of a job, still let us know! Job searching has been a huge process. We've found the best thing to do is to bring up school district websites and browse the job postings. If you have a little extra time on your hands, go ahead and see if a district in your area wants a choir teacher and let us know.
Maybe you don't know of a job but your best friend is a high school music teacher and we can become acquainted with them. Or maybe you are Mack Wilberg's neighbor (yes this is a joke, ha. ha.) Perhaps you know of a new high school being built nearby...or even a charter school...
Brian and I have applied for two excellent jobs. We would be happy with either job but reality is dozens of people will be applying for these jobs too. We would love to apply for five or ten more jobs. If we still don't get a job after that, we'll consider another awesome giveaway that may (don't go too wild here folks) include having us actually come live with you! Now wouldn't that be great! (Yes I'm joking. It is sort of not funny because we currently are living with people.)

I am friends with the high school music teacher up in Ashton. I will ask her if she is in the know about music teachers in this area and keep you posted.
AAAGGGGHHH!!! matt said there is a high school here hiring a choir teacher!!!! it is at west caldwell in lenoir nc. i looked up the website and couldnt find anything, but matts aunt is somthign with all the schools, so basically if you knwo her and she likes you, you are in. i know her and she likes me and trusts me and i could totally get a good word in for you guys :) i will call her tomorrow and ask where the info is on the job and if it is still availablee!!! IM SSOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! i woulod seriously FREAK OUT if you moved here!!!!!

HEY :) so i talked to matts aunt and she told me that one of the highschools here was hiring, but they might have found a teacher already. she doesnt know. but she said go onto caldwellschools.com scroll down to employment and click on ccs job vacancies. You need to submit an online application then call the school at 828 758 5583 and ask for doug roney, the principal, and tell him you guys are interested in the band/choir job. im not sure which it is. can brian do both? but anyways that guy can help you if you need to do anythign else. also when you click on the application, there is a part where you can search other jobs in nc, i briefly glanced at it and i saw a choir job. so check it out! good luck!!!!
Hello there! I know that the high school in Price Utah is hiring a choir teacher...the current one is getting ready to retire. The school district is Carbon School district. Don't know the web address. Hope this helps!!

I don't know if they have hired yet, but Viewmont High School in Centerville - where my parents live is losing their choir director this year. She is retiring after like 20 or so years and is leaving on a great note. She has quite the legacy of excellence and is highly regarded as one of the best, if not THE best high school director in Utah.
The students from this area are uber talented and generally whole families of kids have gone through the program.
Again - I don't know if they have hired to replace her yet - but it would be an awesome fit.
